TheMusic.FM is as excited as you are (if not more) about Wednesday’s digital release of Radiohead’s 7th album, In Rainbows, which no one knew was taking place until Sunday’s big news came out.
But why download the album that day and listen to it alone, in your room, with headphones on? Bring some friends down to the basement of The Annex (152 Orchard St., Lower East Side, NYC) and listen to it the night it comes out with other Radiohead fans among some great DJ sets. It’s an event we call What’s In Rainbows.
Free with RSVP at Going.com/InRainbows
One of our DJs, DD Pesh, has been featured on TheMusic.FM before. Hit the link to check out a remix of theirs.

Again that’s Wednesday October 10th at 10 p.m. Check back here for any new details.
You can preview the new Radiohead album thanks to bloggers like Dave at RawkBlog, who compiled live recordings of each track from In Rainbows and the bonus CD that comes with the band’s new Discbox. You can download his collection of mp3s as one big zip here or individually from his post.
AOL News and Wired Magazine’s music blog, Listening Post, offer a similar compilation. But theirs consist of live videos of all the songs posted on YouTube.
See you Wednesday! What’s In Rainbows, basement level of The Annex, 10/10 at 10 p.m.
