
As part of a campaign to promote Toshiba’s upscaling technology found in TVs, DVD players and laptops, the company produced what they claim is the “world’s first ‘timesculpture’ commercial, an evolution of the ‘bullet time’ technique made famous by The Matrix.”
The ad (video above), which uses the Crystal Catles track “Air War,” features short simultaneous loops of the activity of multiple people studio room viewed with a rotating point of view from all angles.
