P.O.S is an unlikely candidate for a request to cover Pearl Jam. Needless to say, MTV2 did, in celebration of Ten‘s deluxe remixing/reissue, and below is the awesomely original result.
Since it was released in 1991, Pearl Jam has expressed some displeasure with the overly polished mixing job. So, for the reissue, they brought in Brendan O’Brien who produced all of the band’s albums since. He digitally remastered and remixed the entire album.
As part of various packages, you can now purchase the remastered/remixed version of Ten which offers the original track listing plus six bonus tracks: “Brother,” “Just a Girl,” “State of Love and Trust,” “Breath and a Scream,” “2,000 Mile Blues” and “Evil Little Goat.”
A Deluxe Edition includes the DVD of Pearl Jam’s previously unreleased 1992 MTV Unplugged performance including the never-before-seen performance of “Oceans” with a 5.1 surround sound audio remix.
The Deluxe Edition is now on sale at Amazon:
