I figure the video above, for “Obviously Cold” is apropos for the way I’m feeling. It’s cold in the morning, warm-ish during the day, and cold and dark by 5pm. What a day, what a world. Luckily there are bands like The Answering Machine. Hailing from Manchester, these lads offer some straight-forward, punk music.  So check out the video, which also includes curling, a sport that needs more attention.

In addition to all of that, the band has been riding a wave of hype based on some blistering live performances. Get a chance to see them in a smaller setting as they are playing New York non-stop in the next two weeks. All dates below.
