“After months of studio work on his forthcoming album,” writes Record Makers, Kavinsky and the label “decided to release ‘Nightcall’ as an apĂ©ritif. ‘Nightcall’ is the first song Kavinsky provides vocals for, a duet you might say, featuring the zombie [Kavinsky] and his girlfriend, a.k.a. Lovefoxxx from CSS!”
The track was produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo of Daft Punk and mixed by SebastiAn.

The standard vinyl gate-fold edition of the EP is set for release on April 5, but you can pre-order a limited “picture disc” edition now that will ship on March 15.
The EP includes a remix from Dustin Ngyuen, as well as a second new Kavinsky track, “Pacific Coast Highway” and its remix by Jackson. You can preview both below. |
