We haven’t heard anything from our beloved Interpol for a while. Singer/guitarist Paul Banks had become Julian Plenti last year and released a great solo album and blew us away at the Guggenheim. But it looks like he’s switched back to Interpol mode.
The band has two Western New York tour dates (Rochester 6/21, Buffalo 6/22) before a string of gigs opening for U2. (Should be the other way around — right?) Stay tuned to the band’s Facebook page in the coming weeks for “important information and dates.”
