A van being used by the band Dawes was broken into last night in Brooklyn when they were playing the Music Hall of Williamsburg and computers, iPods and passports were stolen. Singer Taylor Goldsmith reported the news moments ago to another New York crowd at the Bowery Ballroom.
Goldsmith recently joined John McCauley of Deer Tick and Matthew Vasquez of Delta Spirit to create a self-titled album as Middle Brother. The trio is headlining the Bowery Ballroom tonight in a tour where Dawes and Deer Tick have served as openers. Their previous name was MG&V.
