LCD Soundsystem has announced the release of 1500 additional tickets and a live stream for its sold-out final show after “scalper pieces of fucking shit” rapidly bought up most tickets, leaving many fans high and dry, and frontman James Murphy furious.
Today (Monday, March 28) at 10 a.m., the additional tickets will go on sale here via Ticketmaster. The show is set for this Saturday, April 2.
To make room for the extra attendees, the band had to change “some staging stuff” and remove “some big cameras, etc,” according to this morning’s early announcement (last night shortly after midnight).
Separately, last Thursday, Pitchfork announced that it will offer a live video stream of the final show.
