Since we last left Camp Bisco, happening July 7-9, a lot has changed to only add value to this already stellar party. If The Disco Biscuits, Cut Copy, Death From Above 1979, Wiz Khalifa, Bassnectar, Ghostland Observatory, Rusko, Yeasayer, Neon Indian, MSTRKRFT and more already announced were not enough, well Camp Bisco has you covered with added artists, a remix contest, more stages and themed parties.
Camp Bisco announced that Shpongle (Live), Ratatat, SPECIAL DISCO VERSION DJ Set featuring James Murphy and Pat Mahoney, The New Deal, Four Tet, Conspirator, The Japanese Popstars, Orchard Lounge, Alex English, and JDH & Dave P as well as curated dance tents from DFA, Mad Decent and Damon Dash have been announced. The already strong lineup gets rounded out with two nice headliner acts in Shpongle and Ratatat as well as some great mid-card additions. If you think you were going to sleep, think again as Camp Bisco is staking a claim on every waking hour.

If all these acts were not enough, Camp Bisco just announced themed nights and two more stages. The Philadelphia Experiment Village will be an nteractive art and performance space, featuring DJ’s, live acts, visual installations and sculptures. The PEX stage will also feature Mutaytor, a futuristic dance and aerial troupe. The Showcase Stage will feature more DJ’s and will be home to the Silent Disco. Check out the Camp Bisco homepage to get the full scoop on who will be performing.
Camp Bisco recruited Bang On! NYC to curate two nights of themed parties. “Disco-pocalypse” think 70′s and hedonism, and “Newer Wave” on Saturday.
Finally, put your creative skills to good use and get rewarded for it. Camp Bisco just announced their Remix Contest. Head over to URB and select between tracks from The Disco Biscuits, Yeasayer and DJ Nickodemus. Everything you need including stems are on the page. Winners will be selected for each artists who will then compete for the Grand Prize.
