The Joy Formidable at Madison Square Garden
We knew it was only a matter of time until The Joy Formidable had to play larger spaces. After rocking Webster Hall and holding their own while opening for the Foo Fighters, The Joy Formidable have announced new tour dates in some pretty large spaces.
The Joy Formidable will hit the road beginning in March with two dates at The Independent in San Francisco. To make it an even better night out, A Place to Bury Strangers will be the main support for all dates. The Joy Formidable will play Terminal 5 on March 28. Exitmusic will join both bands on select dates.
2011 was quite kind to The Joy Formidable which included the release of their debut album, The Big Roar. Television appearances on Conan, David Letterman and Carson Daly only added to their already impressive start.
As a live act, The Joy Formidable deliver pure rock bliss, saturating the room with riffs and theatrics. All dates for The Joy Formidable’s 2012 tour are below.
