Miike Snow‘s eagerly anticipated sophomore release is becoming that much closer to reality. We knew the album and more details were coming after Miike Snow teased us with “The Devil’s Work.” They promised a single and more info in January and they delivered.
Happy to You is the name of Miike Snow’s sophomore record. Happy to You will be released on March 27. While the track list is not known, we do have a new single from Happy to You.
“Paddling Out” premiered over at Spin and it further whets the appetite for Happy to You. “Paddling Out” feels confident, a band understanding their strengths, not just as individuals but as a band. The touring and collaborating have paid off. There are rich textures and cresting beats to explore. The smooth vocals of Andrew Wyatt are balanced wonderfully over the undertow of music created by Christian Karlsson and Pontus Winnberg.
Even better than a new song is getting the chance to see Miike Snow in the wild. The band has announced a series of dates coinciding with their date at Coachella. Miike Snow will headline Terminal 5 on April 24. All dates below.
