Metallica will be headlining their own two-day music festival this summer in Atlantic City. Metallica will be performing the Black Album in full on one night and will be joined by a slew of other acts including Arctic Monkeys, Modest Mouse and more.
Metallica will be headlining Orion Music and More on June 23 and 24, 2012. Metallica will be joined by 22 other acts. Check out the announcement video above. A full list of announced artists who will join Metallica are below.
The festival won’t just be for metal heads. Metallica will be the main draw but there will be some great live acts that will play the festival as well. Aside from Arctic Monkeys and Modest Mouse, The Gaslight Anthem, Titus Andronicus, Best Coast, Fucked Up, Roky Erickson, Gary Clark Jr. and The Black Angels make for a solid undercard.
There is a little something for everyone and it will be interesting to see how Metallica pulls this off.
