Shit Robot is back, today announcing a series of three 12″ singles collectively titled The Green Machine.
You can hear preview clips of the two tracks off the first release, ‘Teenage Bass’/'Space Race’, below.
It will be released digitally and on vinyl via DFA Records on May 21. You can also preorder a limited edition copy now — one of only 50 — which, the label says, “will come in a numbered, custom, hand-made sleeve and will be signed by Mr. Shit Robot himself. It’ll also come with a CD-r copy of the single, not available elsewhere. Which is good for you .wav fanatics!”

About the new series, Shit Robot says that after his debut album, From The Cradle To The Rave, “I just wanted to go back to my roots and make some dance 12″s — music for people to get drunk and jump around to.”
DFA is now offering a discounted From The Cradle to the Rave “Value Pack” — the album in 2-LP and also CD format, plus a Shit Robot pin.
He’s also announced two new US dates: May 25 in San Francisco and July 1 in Chicago, with more to come.
