One of our favorite summer music festivals is surely Camp Bisco, which runs Thursday, July 12 through Saturday, July 14 in the Upstate New York town of Mariaville.
We told you back in March about the lineup which includes The Disco Biscuits, Bassnectar, Skrillex, Crystal Castles, Big Boi, Shpongle, A-Trak, Simian Mobile Disco, Dada Life and many more. We also told you about the improvements this year: Faster entry into the festival with an additional main gate, better audio in the dance tents, larger dance tents, and long-distance shuttles from New York, Philly, Albany, Buffalo, Boston and Burlington.
But here are some new details:
The camp grounds will open Wednesday July 11 at 9 p.m. so you can arrive the night before and not a miss a minute the next day. More details here.
And there’s some news on the stages. Fool’s Gold will be hosting a tent called the Fool’s Gold Club House featuring A-Trak, JWLS, Codes, Nick Catchdubs, Mr. MFN eXquire, and Craze. OWSLA (Skrillex’s label) will also be hosting a stage featuring Skrillex, The M Machine, Dillon Francis, Alvin Risk, Kill the Noise, Zedd, and Porter Robinson.
Ninja Tune is celebrating 20 years of beats with Blockhead, Starkey, FaltyDL, Amon Tobin ISAM, Daedelus and Bonobo. And the Showcase Stage is back featuring some great up-and-coming talent from the Northeast.
Tickets are still available, for now.
