Divine Fits are going on the road in support of their debut album, A Thing Called Divine Fits. This “supergroup” of sorts consists of Britt Daniel, from Spoon, Dan Boeckner, from Wolf Parade and Handsome Furs, as well as Sam Brown from New Bomb Turks.
The new band was only recently unveiled and have only played a handful of dates up until the announcement of a full fall tour. A Thing Called Divine Fits is an immensely enjoyable album and a great mix of Daniel’s and Boeckner’s talents, pulling some classic rock elements as well as more minimal electronic elements from their collective bag of tricks. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing how the band is live.
Cold Cave will be supporting the majority of the tour beginning on October 21, the support dates for October 16-19 are TBD.
