Justice seamlessly mixed 54 song clips into just 5 minutes for Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show on Friday. It was the third time since their debut-album release in 2007 that the duo contributed to the show’s guest mini-mix feature, which requires each submission to be exactly five-minutes long.
But this one was very different than those of the past. It almost completely eschewed electronic-music tracks in favor of mainly classic rock selections. Other types of unlikely classics were also peppered in, like Doobie Brothers’ “What A Fool Believes,” for example.
